Hi, Mark Shrago here, and thanks for stopping by: AllYouWantTraffic.com

Since retiring last year, I have been working on a couple of websites and affiliate programs. After almost 30 years in the wholesale bakery business, this has been a real challenge and eye opener. One thing I have come to realize is, "new challenges are a good thing", to quote Martha Stewart.

I had been using a computer for about 15 years for sales management tools, email, research and some fun and gaming. Using the computer to market online is definitely a different can of worms. Speaking of worms, check out my other site sometime at www.startfishingnow.com.  That site is alot of fun and still a work in progress.

With alot of affiliate programs comes great hype of all the potential money one can make with them. I could not help but notice that one central theme was missing from most of these programs. You are given an impressive affiliate web page, and told to go and promote it, but no real guidance as to how to get traffic and visitors to your page.

Hence, my idea of building a website on how to generate traffic to your new or existing business site online. I realize this is a topic heavily promoted and written about with, yet again many affiliate and gadget programs being sold on the subject. "Just buy my program and I will show you how to..."

I have not created any such program here, but I do have links to a few traffic building programs I have purchased that have been useful to me. With all the information out there on the Web2.0 sites, generating traffic is not necessarily a difficult or complex science, but just a time consuming process.

I get a kick out of some of the experts who are more than willing to sell you a great program explaining all the ways to generate traffic, but I know that they have a staff of about 5 people who do all these traffic generating chores for them. Blog posting, article writing and submitting press releases, e-zine writing etc. are all great tools, but very time consuming for a one person operation like me or perhaps you.

One piece of advice I would like to offer if you are new to internet marketing is this. Rather than try to master all these skills and promotional methods at one time, I would concentrate on not more than one or two at a time. First thing is get your business and website all dialed in the way you want it to look and feel. Then I would start your promotional and traffic generating efforts one or two at a time-SEO, article marketing, blogging, e-mail campaigns, writing an e-zine or newsletter, getting proficient at each before moving on to the next. This will save you a ton of stress in the end. I hope this bit of advice is useful to you.

Once again, thanks for stopping in and please bookmark this site and come back often as I will be adding more content and ideas about generating more quality website traffic.
